Being a Man

Nowdays, being a man is hard. We are expected to be so many things previously held dear to the female gender. At some point in the past 10 years, men became more feminine, doing more feminine activities, and woman became more manly.

Now before feminist and others get all over me, I am all for equality in the home and work place, but there are some things women are better suited for then men, and vice versus.

Men have always been providers, hunters, fixers, and basically rugged. Go up to the average man you know and ask them if they can shoot a rifle, clean a dear, plow a field, plant crops, or even track a muddy bear across a clean white floor. Odds are they can't. And while most of this comes up rarely, its still a sign of men becoming soft and complacent in their life. The most activity they get is walking to the coffee machine and back again. The only hunting they do is for women, and even then they now expect women to make the first move.

Go look at a mans appearance. Most are clean shaven, perfect nails, a slight paunch in the middle, saggy man boobs, no ass, and close cut hair. And women, if this is what you want, by all means go for it. However know this is an affront to our very manhood. Women in the south, you know who I am talking to, how do you want your man? Do you want to be confident that he will take care of you, or are you worried if push comes to shove you have to be the man? Do you want him picking you up in a jeep for a day of playing in the mountains, a cooler, and you bring the bag lunch? Or do you want him picking you up in a car, taking you to the mall and talking to you like your girlfriends?

Men, its time to be men, without alienating women.
